ECDL

ECDL - Core: usually of interest to those who intend to seek or return to work and require a well-known accreditation. The centre is an ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) testing centre.
ECDL - Advanced: usually of interest to people who wish to pursue a higher level of computing skills
FETAC Courses
Usually of interest to those who are returning to education and also wish to develop IT skill. The centre is a certified FETAC (Further Education Training and Awards Council) training and testing centre. The courses offered include:
Computer Applications: Level 4 Word Processing: Level 5 Web Authoring: Level 5
ICS (Irish Computer Society) Skills
The CTP (Certified Training Professional) award is an international qualification in IT training. It sets the standard for classroom-based training by individual trainers and training organisations.
Equalskills: a fun and informal introduction to computers and the Internet. The aim is to help people feel comfortable using a computer and to teach them the skills necessary to communicate using the internet and email.
e-Citizen: a computer skills programme for people who want to use the internet as a source of information, as well as to shop, bank, book holidays, pay bills and access goverment services. |
