FETAC Level 5 B20137
Purpose
This module is a statement of the standards to be achieved to gain a FETAC Credit in Accounting – Manual and Computerised Level 5. It is a mandatory module for the Level 5 Certificate in Business Studies – Administration. This module is designed to enable the learner to understand the principles and practice of maintaining financial records manually and using integrated accounting software.

- Accounting Principles
- Accounting Practice
- Computer Principles
- Computerised Practice
General Aims
Learners who successfully complete this module will:
- Develop an understanding of the principles of accounting
- Understand a range of accounting terms and ratios
- Be able to carry out a range of accounting procedures
- Be capable of preparing financial statements for a range of organizations both manually and using integrated accounting software
